The Boat

Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Maine. There is a thin line that divides my mood swings. On one side I'm happy, productive, and confident. On the other side, I slip into darkness, drenched with feelings of uselessness and frustration. It can come at any moment, without warning, triggered by the most trivial thing. I feel like I'm at sea with no navigational tools and with no idea when the next storm will arrive.
