California

There have been some changes to the website since my last post; an updated look, added features, and additional portfolio galleries, the newest being a gallery of photographs from California.  Unlike the Colorado gallery, which spans almost the entire state, the locations I shot in California are limited to a small stretch of the coast and to Death Valley National Park.  I’m missing a big chunk of the state, but I think between the two areas shown here the diversity in what California has to offer is represented.  The gallery begins at the literal coastline and moves up the beach and into the coastal forests and from there to the dry and barren desert of Death Valley.  I hope to return soon and head into the mountains and inland forests in an attempt to complete this collection, not to mention I have many old and good friends out there I’d like to catch up with.  There are a lot of good reasons to go back.
